JB: Yes, the project was to kayak around the world one continent at a time, including Oceania … knowing that Antarctica would be the final adventure given its logistical and financial hurdles!O: Now that youve done it, what is your feeling about the body of work? Did it accomplish what youd hoped?JB: I’m a storyteller, using print, photographs replica Vacheron Constantin watch and films to bring back stories … so on that front it worked fantastically. During the past 10 years my teams and I had a unique look at both the health of the world’s oceans and the lives of the 3 billion people who live near them … and came away with a few important lessons: whether you live on the coast of Vietnam or Gabon or Chile, your lives are more similar than they are different.
